What you'll be doing:
- Build and configure equipment and services based on Entain standards
- Planning, coordinating and performing maintenance activities, upgrades, patches and disaster recovery tests
- Conduct, analyze, recommend, and present performance and/or capacity analysis to assure systems reliability for current and/or future use
- Contribute to the resolution of incidents/changes for the Technology Operations team within Entain group in coordination with Head of Technology Operations, peers and other Technology Operations members
- Delivery of incident management to ensure the best possible levels of quality of service and availability are maintained
Who you are:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with Unix systems maintenance in enterprise environment
- Demonstrable experience in infrastructure operations
- Strong problem solving, understanding of RCA and analytical skills
- Strong technical background with experience in the following areas:
- Server technologies: Solaris 11 both on SPARC and x86 architectures and a major Enterprise Linux server distribution (preferable Red Hat Enterprise Linux or Oracle Linux)
- Good understanding of Oracle Engineered Systems (Oracle Supercluster and Exadata, ZFS appliance, ZDLRA)
