As the Program Manager you will be expected to execute and problem solve, be self-driven and forward thinking. Focusing on BAU deliverables. You will own and drive execution of BAU objectives for your senior stakeholders’ programmes of work. 

You are more than program management, key operational members of the leadership team. Real SMEs who problem solve and manage issues through to mitigation. Work with the capability leads (Marketing/BI/Customer Ops) to ensure their strategies are executed in line with objectives and benefits. To monitor performance and identify any needs of improvement.

You will be responsible for specifying and coordinating product and tech capacity. Working closely with your key stakeholders with (Marketing/BI/Customer Ops) and the Digital Ops director to prioritize, ensuring Entain digital is at the cutting edge in all aspects of execution and all ROI benefits/objectives are delivered in a timely manner. Working with teams around you from start to finish for your capability (Marketing/BI/Customer Ops).

Key Responsibilities:
● Be a vocal, engaged member of the (Marketing/BI/Customer Ops)– Providing input into business wide issues and initiatives, and ‘lead from the front’ on all aspects of strategic delivery, operational performance, and organizational improvement.
● Delivers consistency in execution and programme deliverables.
● Ensures the PMO playbook standards are adhered too and executional methodologies adopted to drive improvement in project/program management.
● Setting goals for programs according to the strategic objectives of the organization.
● Develop or approve budgets associated to your programmes.
● Read reports prepared determine progress and issues & keep senior management informed with detailed and accurate reports or presentations.
● Establishing formal reporting arrangements on programme or project progress aligned with central standardised reporting.
● Defining criteria for control and management of the programme or project.
● Provide clear, consistent leadership to the wider community of stakeholders that Digital relies on for delivery.
 

Strategic project scoping and stakeholder buy-in:

● Define the scope of Programmes in alignment with the business owner and organisation’s strategic objectives.
● Provide thought leadership and coordination in defining the scope of initiatives across multiple major workstreams, involving the steering group, functional leads, and regional stakeholders.

Business case development and prioritization:

● Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure clear business cases are established for each initiative and aligned with PMO central playbook.
● Justify the alignment of each initiative with the strategic objectives and use this rationale for prioritization.
● Utilize a structured methodology to assess and prioritize initiatives based on their strategic value and potential impact.

Dependency mapping and project roadmap:

● Conduct comprehensive dependency mapping exercises to identify interdependencies and critical paths across initiatives.
● Create and maintain an overall programme and vertical roadmap (e.g. Sports/Gaming programme’s roadmap)
● Ensure that the project roadmap reflects the dependencies and sequencing of initiatives to enable effective coordination and resource allocation.

Resource requirement identification:

● Identify and assess the resource requirements for each scoped initiative
● Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to secure the necessary resources and ensure their timely allocation to initiatives.

Outcome clarity and KPI implementation:

● Define clear and measurable outcomes for each initiative, ensuring they are aligned with strategic objectives.
● Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with the desired outcomes and enable effective measurement of success.
● Monitor the progress of initiatives against defined KPIs and take proactive measures to address any performance gaps.

Engagement and communication planning:

● Develop comprehensive engagement and communication plan
● Build effective communication channels and mechanisms to ensure stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
 

Governance and documentation:

 ●Create a Project plan, Risks/Issues log, Shared drive and task list for every project

Regularly update all stakeholders as per agreed cadence
  •  Clearly define roles and responsibilities for each project
