The Brand Manager for bwin will work closely with a Senior Brand Manager bwin to support in the translation of the brand strategy and positioning into compelling brand & product activation plans. The Brand Manager will ensure world class implementation of the annual marketing plan across ATL media, digital channels and sponsorship as well as supporting the CRM and acquisition teams in the activation of key propositions to recruit new actives and re-recruit lapsed players. 

 

The Brand Manager will be the owner of the brand guidelines, and work with the Senior Brand Manager and chosen agencies to develop brand communications, continuously reviewing, testing and evolving best-in-class marketing campaigns. The role will lead weekly and monthly reporting against the key brand marketing KPI’s with clear root cause analysis and recommended next steps 

 

The role will also work closely with performance marketing teams to support the delivery of assets for channels such as CRM, Social, Display/Programmatic to ensure campaigns are delivered with consistency across all marketing channels. Working closely with teams across the business (Sponsorship, Media, Sportsbook, Gaming, Legal & Compliance etc), this role will provide a diverse challenge for an ambitious individual with a passion to develop and refine excellent marketing strategy and delivery skills. It will be highly visible, and a great opportunity to broaden both marketing capability and business acumen.  

 
 
Key Duties 
Support Senior Brand Manager bwin in execution of the annual marketing plan against key objectives & activities.
Brand guardian and responsible for driving brand strategy through 360 marketing campaigns across all customer interactions and touchpoints.
Owner of the brand guidelines, ensuring all creative delivered in line with guidelines.
Work with the Commercial, Props & Promotion team to ensure best-inclass delivery of the brand marketing plan ensuring it delivers against both commercial and brand KPI’s. 
Support the Senior Brand Manager in working with the media agency to develop strong media plans to cut through and build brand awareness and relevancy.
Working with Sponsorship team, manage activation of bwin’s Sponsorship portfolio, particularly our UEFA Europa and Conference League partnership.
Delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across all customer touchpoints.
Manage timelines for campaign briefings and deliverables.
Support the delivery of all creative and communications across the various channels.
Development of close relationships with internal stakeholders/departments enabling the delivery of business objectives through marketing strategy.
Build strong relationships with internal and external agencies and partners, setting direction, performance indicators and KPI measures.
Budget and spend tracking. 
Reporting - understands campaign reporting and suggests campaign optimisation.
Compliance - understands and implements latest Responsible Gambling restrictions and channel compliance rules.
Further develop media and creative knowledge and understanding. 
 
Skills & Experience 

Essential 

 

  • Experience in Marketing, including the delivery of integrated campaigns across creative, media and all internal channels.
  • Deep experience and understanding of the DACH market
  • Experience in brief writing, able to clearly define objectives to ensure briefs are clear, concise, and single minded.
  • Experienced in media planning, tracking and analysis to drive future plans.
  • Proven track record of understanding wider business objectives and delivering innovative marketing solutions to not only solve but stretch our ambitions.
  • Experience of working within a large organisation with a matrix of operational teams to deliver business objectives.
  • Experience of working within betting & gaming or the broader entertainment industry would be beneficial but not imperative.
  • Clear communicator who can translate thinking into clear and concise feedback judged against briefs.
