As our Senior Media and Innovation Manager will work closely with the Head of Media and Innovation to elevate the commercial and consumer impact of Entain's regional brand media investment. This role will provide media planning guardianship across all brands in the Entain portfolio, whilst disrupting the end-to-end communications process through new, innovative, tech and publisher partnerships.

The role will work closely with the brand and performance marketing teams to support the briefing and evaluation of brand channels such as TV, Social and Display/Programmatic. The successful candidate will be able to prioritise workload against varying portfolio objectives and set a high bar for campaign effectiveness to increase customer engagement and business results.
Working closely with teams across the business (Brand, Sponsorship, Sportsbook, Gaming, Legal & Compliance etc), this role will provide a diverse challenge for an ambitious individual with a passion to develop and refine excellent media strategy and planning skills. It will be highly visible within Entain and the broader media industry, and is a great opportunity to broaden both marketing capability and business acumen.
What you will do
- Support Head of Media and Innovation in all aspects of media strategy and marketing transformation within Entain's portfolio marketing plans.
- Working with channel owners to drive leaps in media effectiveness through connected 'customer-led' thinking between disciplines - Brand, Performance & CRM.
- Understand how to use innovative media thinking to work with brand teams to differentiate from competitors and consistently earn customer attention.
- Guardian of media planning best practice and common standards across key brand marketing channels, such as ATL, Social and Display/Programmatic.
- Working with BI and Brand teams to drive quarterly media investment optimisation process and ongoing test and learn programme.
- Drive a standardised process for evaluating the impact and strategic fit of current and future media partnerships and deals.
- Development of closer, win-win, relationships with external platforms, publishers & tech partners, enabling the delivery of breakthrough innovation across the full communications planning process.
- Working with brand teams and external partners to implement agreed Media Innovation projects.
- Build strong relationships with external media agency, monitoring and elevating service delivery to brand teams and against business objectives.
- Upskill the brand and wider communcation teams on best in class media planning via implementing ongoing training and inspiration programmes.
Who you are
- Experience in Brand focused Media Strategy/Planning functions including roles within top tier consumer businesses that have a strong Brand Marketing reputation.
- An ability to think strategically in structuring, evaluating and delivering disruptive media strategies, campaign plans and media partnership deals deployed across channels to drive brand growth.
- Particular focus placed on Digital media planning skills, including Social, Programmatic and wider Content.
- Highly data literate, has a track record for working with complex BI and Analytics outputs to optimise short and long term investment decisions.
- Deep understanding of the UK media landscape essential, with experience in planning Pan-European campaigns an advantage.
- Experience in media agency management, and driving improved service delivery and processes.
- Demonstratable passion for the potential of technology and 'win-win' platform/publisher partnerships to disrupt category convention.
- Experience of working within a large organisation with a matrix of operational teams.
- Clear communicator who can translate thinking into clear and concise feedback judged against briefs.
