As a Digital Payroll & Overheads Accountant, you will be responsible for thereview and analysis of Payroll and Overheads for all Digital divisions ofEntain. You will work on for reviewing the entries into the accounting software are accounted for accurately and on a timely basis by brand and division.

Reporting to Digital Balance Sheet & Overheads Controller, you will be part of the Financial Control department.

What you will do 

  • Creation of reports (ORCs) to give breakdowns of certain overheads with respect to entity, supplier or other Microstrategy category.
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and linking reconciliations to the Balance Sheet Tracker and reporting completion
  • Assist in the deliver insightful analysis and commentary on all key overhead variances to budget/plan/prior year in order to explain performance. 
  • Provide information required to auditors during internal and external audit processes to ensure compliance with requirements
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and investigations at the request of stakeholders, providing financial support to senior management
Who you are 
  • Part qualified accountant – ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent or qualified by experience
  • Experience in management accounting, ideally within a customer-facing online business
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-finance colleagues and develop good working relationships with staff at all levels
