Our UK offices are based in Stratford in London, Nottingham & Manchester and operate on a hybrid working model. (2+ days in the office). This role is based in our Stratford office.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • The key purpose of this role is to optimise 3rd party spend on IT expenditure across Entain, through the delivery of the identified integration benefit and creation of short/mid/long-term value optimisation strategies aligned to the objectives of the business.
  • Engage IT community to understand business strategies
  • Develop medium and long term IT Strategies, ensuring commercial tension across all areas of spend
  • As needed, deputise for Head of Technology Procurement
  • Using stakeholder and supplier networks, identify continuous improvement and step change opportunities to product and service specifications
  • Understand and ensure the implementation of all IT Integration benefits through both personal delivery and matrix engagement with the IT teams
  • Financial reporting of cost improvement on a P&L basis, interpreting CAPEX, OPEX, depreciation and cash flow
  • Identification of global synergies
  • Creation of global IT commercial strategy identifying all sources of benefit short/mid and long term
  • Lead on Integration and execution benefit delivery opportunities

  

WHO YOU ARE

  • Experience building IT Strategies
  • TCO modelling to define optimal cost structures
  • Excellent people and influencing skills across all levels of the organisation
  • Highly organised
Desirable
  • Professional qualification such as MCIPS
  • Project Management qualification
  • IT experience in Infrastructure On Prem, Cloud and Databases
  • Technically and commercially astute
