WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Provide analytical support and insight to enable high profile and impactful decision making for the Gaming function and the wider business, allowing key stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.
- Provide analysis not data. Understand the data, draw out actionable findings, and deliver them clearly and concisely to senior stakeholders.
- Work with the Head of Gaming Analytics to identify and implement consistent analytical metrics around complex business issues and processes.
- Drive analytical projects though to delivery and embed them within the organization.
- Pro-actively monitor key metrics, identifying unusual performance and highlighting to the business potential areas of both risk and opportunity.
- Work closely with Gaming function to ensure alignment.
- Build relationships with business leaders across the team, promoting the Gaming Analytics team’s capabilities and ensuring we remain front of mind for colleagues.
- Mentor and help to develop (less senior) colleagues within the team by sharing knowledge and collaborating on projects or tasks.
- Work collaboratively with all analysts within the wider team.
WHO YOU ARE
Essential:
- High level analytical experience
- Expert knowledge of SQL with a thorough understanding of database structure and logic
- Knowledge of programming languages (Python / R)
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to gather requirements from stakeholders clearly and work through to completion
- Strong mathematical background
