As a Compliance and Governance Officer you will manage the Philippine registered Entain business within the Gambling landscape and external regulatory requirements. Specifically, in relation with the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Authority (PAGCOR). To operate and maintain a Compliance framework as directed and governed by the Entain Group, in relation to all major risks including license compliance and regulation, data management and governance.

Reporting to Senior Compliance & Governance Manager, you will be part of the International Compliance PHL who are responsible to help oversee the operations carried out under all key Philippines licenses in all Digital operations across all territories.

What you will do
- You will assist the Sr. Compliance and Governance Manager in the day-to-day execution of internal governance and compliance requirements.
- You will develop a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of compliance, risk management and governance processes developed and maintained for the Philippines business.
- With the direct guidance from your manager, you will maintain a flexible management control system including any risks or controls and concerns identified by management and external partners e.g., External Audit, ISO and Legal Team.
- Ensure the effective planning and execution of an annual programme of regulatory activities including (but not limited to): Licensing & Permitting, Compliance Review, Mandatory Training.
- Support the Sr. Compliance and Governance Manager in the implementation and embedding of a Risk Management framework and ensure effective risk management is taking place.
- You will ensure that Governance processes are adhered to by performing periodic follow-up processes on external reviews and/or assurance recommendations and conducting an adequate monitoring of results with local teams.
- Assist the local Manager in maintaining the Contracts Database for the Philippines business.
- You will help drive a culture of risk management and strong controls throughout the business and promote the positive business benefits of risk management as part of normal management practices.
- Provide cover and deputise for the Sr. Compliance and Governance Manager in key meetings or functions as and when required.

- Experience of a highly regulated environment and auditing to diverse external regulations.
- Experience of developing internal audit processes and controls as well as experience in working with risk management.
- Working knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDRP) and Data Privacy Act of 2012.
- Flexibility to Manage Change – meet the changing needs of the Business, Regulators and Commission.

Qualifications and Educational Requirements
- At least 2 year-experience in Compliance or Internal Audit.
- Relevant professional qualification in Internal Audit or Accounting is preferred but not required
