Senior Brand Manager – Gala

The Senior Brand Manager for Gala will work closely with the Head of Brand to develop a comprehensive winning brand strategy and positioning for Gala. As well as translating the strategic direction into compelling brand & product activation plans for Gala Bingo, Spins & Casino to ensure we maintain our number 1 position in the UK market.  

To lead, with the support of the Head of Brand in developing the media strategy and plan to build our brand presence and cut through to strengthen our brand metrics as well as drive new players into Gala.  Ensure best in class delivery.

To work with the Head of Brand to define the appropriate brand marketing budgets (ATL media & production) ensuring that spend is aligned to strategy & commercial goals. To manage the budget tracking and monthly reporting.

What you will do 

  • To be a positive brand force working with all the teams across the business that touch Gala to translate the brand strategy into activation plans, to build brand consistency and cut through across all consumer touchpoints.
  • To be a strong line manager ensuring the Gala team are exceeding objectives from both a business and personal development perspective
  • To own the Gala brand numbers, to report weekly and monthly performance versus target and yoy with detailed root cause analysis and next steps

Additionally you will also:

  • Support the development of the brand strategy framework and activation plans
  • Owner of the brand guidelines, ensuring all creative delivers in line with these
  • Working with the Verticals and Regional Managers to ensure best in class delivery of the brand marketing plan aligned with campaign strategy

Who you are 

  • Extensive experience in Marketing, including strategic development and delivery of integrated campaigns across creative, media and all internal channels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – ability to use a range of communication styles and methods to engage audiences of different types and levels
  • Experience in technical brief writing, able to disseminate multiple tasks and objective to ensure briefs and clear, concise and single minded
  • Experienced in media tracking, analysis and media science to drive future plans
  • Proven track record of understanding wider business objectives and deliver innovative marketing solutions to not only solve, but stretch our ambitions..
  • Experience of working within a large organisation with a matrix of operational teams and delivering business objective
