Compliance Manager – Marketing

Essential requirement for this role: Excellent knowledge of the compliance and regulatory environment, with particular focus on UK and Gibraltar gambling regulations in relation to marketing compliance.

As a Compliance Manager, you will You will be responsible for monitoring compliance in the area of all marketing, promotions, social media, promotional terms and conditions, TV commercials and other marketing and promotional activities for the UK, Ireland and Gibraltar facing brands, while supporting international jurisdictions and compliance teams in the same area as part of the Group monitoring of promotional marketing.

You will work on monitoring compliance with UK, Ireland and Gibraltar regulations, in particular Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) and Committee of Advertising Practice (CAP) codes, Industry Group for Responsible Gambling (IGRG) codes and the Advertising Standards Authority Ireland (ASAI) conducting risk assessments and gap analyses, maintaining and updating compliance records, monthly and quarterly reporting, logs and project plans.

Reporting to the Senior Compliance Manager, you will be part of the Legal and Compliance team.

What you will do 

  • Work closely with the Senior Compliance Managers to manage the marketing compliance function and ensure on time, high quality delivery for all promotional L&C initiatives.
  • Manage project plans and timelines across development of the sign off process.
  • Manage games audit projects for various licences and the games register process.
  • Conduct risk assessments and gap analyses against regulations, guidance and legislation.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for marketing and promotional requirements.
  • Deliver high quality L&C analysis and support for all brands.
  • Encourage communication and collaboration across the business, team and stakeholders in order to build strong relationships and develop cross functional working.
Who you are
  • Demonstrate a flexible approach – equally comfortable managing top level activity and also getting involved operationally to make things happen.
  • Excellent knowledge of the compliance and regulatory environment, with particular focus on UK and Gibraltar gambling regulations in relation to marketing compliance.
  • At least 2 years compliance and regulatory experience in a fast paced, regulated environment.
  • Experience working on multiple projects at once, across multiple geographical locations.
  • Excellent listening, interviewing, presentation, facilitation and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated strong performance in prior roles, with increasing levels of responsibility and independence.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills which delivers messages clearly and confidently at all levels.
