As a Software Engineer, you will work to articulate requirements, supply thought leadership, and provide commercial options via project and process delivery.

Reporting to the Software Engineering Team Lead, you will be part of the Sports Technology Team who are responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining medium to high complexity features. You will be leading requirements analysis and process improvement, supporting business case development, project implementation, testing and following up on benefits realization.

What you will do

  • Assumes responsibility for delivering well-defined, moderately complex features in alignment with defined specifications.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in debugging and resolving issues across development, testing, and production environments
  • Build high-quality, clean, scalable, and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software development life cycle.  
  • Collaborates consistently by working closely with other team members, actively contributing to the delivery of features and fixes.
  • Remains informed about the execution metrics of their team, understanding their significance and how they are measured.

Who you are

  • Proficient in the usage of C# data structures like lists and queues.
  • Competent in latest .net Framework features and technologies (C#, .NET, .NET Core, BCL).
  • Competent in WebApi development (REST, gRPC).
  • Demonstrate an understanding of service communication via Messaging solutions like TIBCO, 
    Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Competent in the Agile Software Development Process (Scrum, Kanban) and the Software 
    Development Lifecycle
  • Demonstrate an understanding of NoSQL data storage (Redis).
  • Competent in troubleshooting performance related incidents with the help of diagnostic tools like 
    OpenTelemetry or Grafana.
