Purpose of role:

As a member of a select team of analysts it will be incumbent on this role to manage, direct and evolve all real time business and exposure across all the Entain brands Bet In-Play (BIP) proposition, in line with the strategic process implemented by the Head of Bet in Play Analysis.
 

Key Accountabilities;

•Ensure blanket coverage of all BIP output, acting as the front line for BIP risk management.
•Monitor betting markets and understand customer betting patterns in real time.
•Escalate real time issues to the relevant Trading teams to mitigate against unwanted exposure, including integrity concerns.
•Work collaboratively with Client Profiling and Sport Risk Analyst teams to build awareness on specific customers and profiles of customers that emerge.
•Analyse weekly/monthly/annual reporting on key markets, event and customers, having an all-encompassing view of the key BIP drivers, and escalating these to the BIPA Operations Manager and Head of BIP Analysis.
•Contribute and communicate at a high level, as part of a global team, ensuring 24/7 coverage.
•Work with the BIPA Operations Manager and Head of BIP Analysis to constantly appraise limits, grades, hierarchies effectively.
•Identify weak spots to evolve the trading algorithms, feeding into the Head of Trading Performance to drive positive change.
 
 
Experience / Competencies / Behaviours:

•Works in a collaborative way with technical and data driven teams, capable of digesting and cascading noteworthy information.
•Must possess a knowledge of sportsbook pricing, trading and liability management.
•Data-driven and detail-orientated with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Must have a passion for Sport and the Gaming sector.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Must be highly organised and possess a structures approach to their work.
•Establish reporting techniques detailing the performance KPIs.
•A keen learner and someone who is always striving to improve.
