Role Purpose:

The Web Content Specialist is responsible for managing content in BetMGM’s various websites and landing pages. This includes adding new marketing content to a website, updating content to an existing promotion, and overseeing the Content Management System (CMS) used to control the information on the website. He or she is also responsible for our sites’ basic troubleshooting and maintenance to ensure its optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Perform general website updates including text and image changes, adding/editing/deleting content, as required.
  • Perform user testing of website to make sure all links, images, and content are correct Proactively identify and drive site improvements, developments, and fixes to improve customer experience.
  • Participate and contribute to department and work-related meetings as required. Timely communication and coordination with the team and other stakeholders.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Educational Requirements: 

  • Must possess a demonstrable knowledge of HTML5 and CSS, proficiency in JavaScript will be an advantage as well as experience with working with WordPress and/or other CMS platforms.
  • Portfolio of past work in relation to HTML5 and CSS is an advantage but not required. Certification related to front end development and/or online marketing is desirable but not required.

Specialist Skills and Experience Required:  

  • Demonstrable knowledge of front-end coding languages such as HTML and CSS. Proficiency in JavaScript will be an advantage.
  • Experience with working with WordPress and/or other CMS platforms. Must have good English communication skills (written and verbal) and is comfortable working in a team environment.
  • A commitment to quality and a thorough approach to work.
