As a Senior Data Quality & Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for bringing order to the working practices, holding engineering to account for producing highly supportable solutions and facing business stakeholders while investigating concerns and assuring execution of live Analytical process and tech to quality and time.

Reporting to the Data Operations Manager, you will be part of the Data Quality team, who are responsible for driving data-driven decision-making within the organization.

What you will do

  • Monitor data infrastructure performance, availability and reliability  and identify bottlenecks and areas for optimization 
  • Collaborate with data engineering for system improvements.
  • Develop and implement data quality standards.
  • Automate routine tasks and maintenance activities to improve operational efficiency. 
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in operations. 
  • Drive initiatives for adopting new technologies and methodologies to improve data operation capabilities.

Who you are

  • Experience in a similar position, in a large corporate, working with high volumes of data. 
  • Strong experience in data operations or similar role.
  • Expert in data manipulation and processing tools.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders 
  • In depth knowledge of data governance and compliance.
  • Expert in cloud services and infrastructure management.
  • Strong knowledge of different technologies – AWS, SQL, Snowflake,  Power BI, and ideally Monte Carlo
