Entain’s LATAM division is looking to hire a “Sportsbook Product Manager” to help define, articulate, document, and implement a comprehensive Sportsbook strategy across Iberia (primarily Spain and Portugal), with a ruthless focus on efficiency and data driven decision making, while contextualizing the betting market environment (e.g. Regulation)

They must be comfortable working in a fast-past commercial environment, as well as show an aptitude for “on-the-job” learning of complex topics.
 
Key responsibilities:
  • Support the delivery of the Sportsbook Profit and Loss (PnL): Monitor commercial performance meticulously and serve as the pivotal liaison to the central trading & product teams to conceptualize and execute Iberia product/trading initiatives.
  • Formulate Sportsbook Strategy for Iberian markets: Determine the products to promote with a strong consideration of local sports-betting regulation and competitor dynamics, user flows to foster, and key metrics to monitor, ensuring alignment with overarching organizational objectives.
  • Translate strategy into business cases: Work closely with the wider team to create business cases on key strategic items. Use the business cases to help drive traction with the Tech & Product team, meticulously track progress, ensuring alignment with strategic milestones and objectives.
  • Establish Competitive Intelligence Mechanisms: Implement robust processes to gauge competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, thereby deriving insights to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate Extensively with Business Intelligence (BI): Work closely with BI and core teams to create a strong understanding of performance. Have a strong idea of what metrics you want to measure and how to measure them
Specialist skills and experience:
Expected
  • 3+ years of proven experience both across sportsbook product and trading, ideally in a Tier 1 firm
  • Solid understanding of Spanish and Portuguese-centric sportsbook products, preferences, sports and leagues
  • Solid understanding of Spanish and Portuguese-sports betting Regulatory laws
  • Experience working with senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Solid analytical capabilities - able to define what metrics matter, analyze them, and deliver meaningful insight that can define strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid PowerPoint communication skills – distilling complex topics into easy to digest and meaningful content to deliver key messages to senior stakeholders
