As a Lead Angular Engineer, you will lead in developing and optimizing high-performance Angular applications. You will be an expert in developing and optimizing high-performance Angular applications. This role demands a deep understanding of Angular framework, performance optimization techniques, and experience in leading development teams. 

Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you will be part of the Enterprise Architect Team who are responsible for identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.

In addition, you’re encouraged to spend up to 20% of your time contributing to relevant open-source projects.

What you will do

  • Performance Optimization: 

  • Optimize applications for Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS). 

  • Implement efficient change detection strategies and caching mechanisms. 

  • Monitor and profile application performance using tools like Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse, and Angular Profiler.

  • Development and Architecture: 

  • Design and implement scalable Angular applications. 

  • Integrate micro-frontend architectures for modular and scalable solutions. 

  • Implement server-side rendering (SSR) using Angular Universal for improved SEO and initial load times

  • Leadership and Collaboration: 

  • Lead a team of developers, providing guidance and technical expertise. 

  • Conduct code reviews and mentor team members on best practices. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers. 

Who you are

  • Angular Expertise:
    Expert with Angular and modern approaches, including Signals.
  • Performance Optimization:
    Proven track record with Core Web Vitals and performance profiling tools (Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse, Angular Profiler).
  • Change Detection and Caching:
    Expertise in change detection strategies and implementing caching mechanisms.
  • Micro-Frontends and SSR:
    Experience with micro-frontend architecture and server-side rendering
  • Leadership and Collaboration:
    Strong leadership skills, with experience in mentoring developers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Continuous Learning:
    Commitment to staying updated with Angular trends and best practices.
