Entain is looking to recruit a Data Analyst to join our Global BI & Analytics team. Within this role you will be join of a team of expert data engineers, performance and BI analysts driving high-profile strategic and operational initiatives. You will be part of a high performing team delivering data solutions, marketing and business insights, impacting business decisions.
We are looking for a skilled data analyst who will be responsible for providing analytical support for business decisions through data preparation, model development and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have experience within data driven analytics, excellent technical skills, a good understanding of the gaming market and an ability to work autonomously as well as within a team. This is a highly dynamic role, which gives you great exposure to the high-level data sources, senior stakeholders and business critical decisions which your data analytics will support.

Core duties of the role:
- Collecting, organizing, analyzing and interpreting data and statistical information to extrapolate behavioral patterns from the data that will provide innovation, direction that can be used to take back to the business using SQL and visualization tools
- Understanding the business requirements from stakeholders perspective and frame clear problem statements back to our senior managers
- Understanding business performance and explaining the story behind the numbers in an engaging manner
- Preparing the data set for the analysis by querying the data warehouse or using reporting resources available
- Translating business requirements into meaningful KPIs and provide input to the reporting team to generate standardised reports to monitor and drive business decisions
- Forecasting key KPIs
- Developing user-friendly dashboards and models for use across the business
Who are we looking for?
- You'll have advanced analytical skills, ability to derive value from data in an expert manner
- Ideally you will have worked within a fast paced, analytical role previously
- You will be an self proclaimed expert when it comes to SQL, and using reporting tools such as Tableau and/or PowerBI, and Python
- You will be confident working with GCP or other cloud-based infrastructure
- You will have a logical approach and passion for to problem solving using data to drive these resolutions.
