Role Purpose
You’ll work with our Canadian marketing team to increase registered clients at one of Canada’s most popular online casino and sports betting destinations.
The Affiliate Account Manager is a hands-on role, offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to have a direct impact on company performance. Focused on growing the business, you are responsible for the results of a portfolio of key partnerships. You will recruit and build relationships with new accounts, maximize revenue from existing accounts, and excel at all aspects of client relationship with an emphasis on excellent service and ROI.
You will collaborate internally with a team of experienced marketers, sharing your insights and knowledge to positively impact the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expand portfolio of affiliate partners, identify and recruit websites to join the affiliate program
- Analyze, optimize and maintain account operations and relationships to increase the number of active/producing affiliate partners
- Ensure affiliate deals are designed to maximize the profitability of the relationship
- Closely monitor and evaluate the success of affiliate partnerships and recommend new campaign ideas, promotions and incentives
- Design and execute campaigns for top affiliate partners aimed at optimizing revenue
- Provide regular and consistent communications with affiliate accounts through email and telephone
- Provide excellent customer service to all accounts (tracking, reporting, creative requirement requests, commission information) with a focus on top performing accounts
- Manage and support affiliate relationships with marketing advice, promotional incentives and analysis
Occasional:
- Monitor competitive landscape to identify and maintain best practices
- Prepare weekly, monthly and ad-hoc precise and brief performance reports as required
- Stay abreast of industry issues and online marketing trends
- Identify areas requiring improvement and provide input into future development and optimization of the program
- Assist in executing ongoing acquisition programs in conjunction with the affiliate program
Specialist Skills and Experience:
Essential:
- At least three years of online marketing experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools and Internet technologies, including basic web development concepts
- Superior written and verbal communication skills – this job requires interfacing with our other international offices as well as with a number of affiliate partners.
- Basic understanding of betting
- Strong analytical data skills
Desired:
- A thorough knowledge of bet types, casino or sports betting offers and promotions, betting motivations and behaviours
- A strong knowledge of the best practices of lead generation or member acquisition, including copy writing, landing page content, keyword development and incentive presentation
- An extensive background in at least one of the following online marketing areas: affiliate management, advertising account management, search engine optimization or media buying. Having an established contact list is an additional bonus.
