Role Purpose    

Working alongside the SEO Manager and the wider SEO team to drive growth from organic search, the SEO executive will develop, coordinate, and execute the SEO strategy for partypoker multi-regional web properties, with a primary focus on content and off-page activities.

The ideal candidate will help shape the organic search strategy and perform key SEO functions to meet business objectives, including content audits, content gaps, keyword research, on-page optimisation, link building, backlink audits, search data analysis, reporting etc.


Key Responsibilities
-       Brief and coordinate SEO optimised content creation and publication with internal teams and agencies
- Optimise/refresh existing content (including meta tags, headings etc.) across multi-regional sites 
- Identify topic/keyword opportunities to increase organic reach
- Content ideation
- Organise content delivery around market-specific content calendars 
- Perform competitor analysis and identify content gaps 
- Perform keyword research to inform SEO strategies and optimisation
- Optimise internal linking 
- Coordinate, execute and report on link acquisition and outreach campaigns 
- Backlink audits
- Carry out content and technical audits to identify obstacles to organic visibility 
- Identify areas for on/off-site improvements
- Image, video optimisation
- Explore new off-page activities
- Use research, analytics and social platforms to measure content and obtain audience insights to support content strategies
- Monitor, analyse and report on performance, including campaigns, rankings, traffic, conversions (etc.) 
- Monitor impact of search engine updates and market changes
- Interpret key data metrics through multiple analytics tools and deliver insightful analysis and recommendations
- Educate relevant departments on the use of SEO guidelines/best practices and follow up on its implementation
- Coordinate the SEO agencies 

Essential

Fluency in a second language (preferably Spanish/Portuguese/Italian/Dutch)
Track record of implementing successful content strategies
Strong SEO content optimisation, writing and ideation skills
Solid SEO knowledge and methodology
Demonstrable knowledge of link building/tactics with previous hands-on experience
Good communication skills and ability to convey requirements and brainstorm solutions with internal teams as well as external agencies
Experience using industry standard SEO tools (i.e.: Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs etc.)
Good understanding of search engine success factors, algorithms, SEO best practices, industry trends and threats 
Good understanding of technical SEO with some experience (i.e.: redirects, paginated pages, XML sitemap, canonical tags, hreflang tags, etc.)
Experience in SEO campaigns, analysis, and reporting
Solid analytics and problem-solving skills, comfortable using Excel
Data driven
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS
Experience using a CMS
Previous SEO experience 
Good verbal and written English a must
