Our newly formed Global People Operations team strives to create and deliver a seamless and positive employee experience across the entire employee lifecycle. Our aim will be to develop efficient and simple people processes, and systems, and maximize our technology.

We are seeking an HR Compliance Specialist to complete the creation of the compliance team within HR.  The ideal candidate will have a working understanding of HR responsibilities and controls, be able to challenge assumptions and see every challenge as an opportunity for improvement.

Key responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and upkeep of the HR Compliance Risk/Issue tracker – liaising with stakeholders to follow up on appropriate actions, document controls and compile update reports for PLT
  • To conduct M0365 Compliance searches for HR DSARs and to ensure searches are compliant and documented
  • To create and own the HR Policy Tracker – to create and implement a policy tracker that accurately records what policies are in place globally (and locally) and to ensure they are tracked and updated appropriately
  • To update the HR Risk Register as appropriate – to ensure the risk register is kept up to date and relevant and a full schedule of check-ins with the HR Leadership Team is booked and updated in line with the Group Risk Committee schedule
  • To compile Group Risk Committee deep dive content and presentations as appropriate
  • To complete Microsoft Compliance searches (eDiscovery) as and when appropriate, liaising with the HR People Operations Team to ensure HR Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) are completed accurately and in a timely manner; always ensuring that the HR DSAR tracker is updated appropriately.
  • To create and maintain the HR Audit Tracker establishing an audit drumbeat to ensure that our key global activities are regularly audited, and audit reports are written and discussed with the Head of HR Policy, Global Compliance & Risk to ensure any faults are noted and remedied
  • To act as a liaison point for Internal Audit, Group Compliance and Cyber Security
  • To complete ad hoc reports and proposals as appropriate when required
  • Maintain audit log of HR movers, leavers etc. and audit system access appropriately
Skills and Experience:
  • Previous HR experience – good understanding of all key workstreams within a Group HR function
  • Good understanding of the purpose and benefits of an HR Compliance function
  • Excellent communication skills – ability to communicate at all levels and across global functions
  • Will be required to have proven written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office 365 suite skills
  • Ability to present data in an easy-to-understand way
  • Previous experience in a large corporate environment preferred
  • Good organizational skills are required

  • Good organizational skills – Ability to prioritize workloads and meet critical deadlines
