To shape that future, we are looking for a world class BI developer to join as part of our newly formed team.


We are looking for a skilled BI developer who will be responsible for the development and administration of BI tools within Entain, transform raw data into meaningful insights via interactive and user-friendly dashboards, who would be part of a team of analysts & data engineers driving high-profile strategic and operational initiatives, delivering marketing and business insights, reporting, data solutions and making recommendations for short and long-term decisions. You will be working on data that includes all our digital brands across all our geographies/products

The ideal candidate will have experience in understanding business requirements, data preparation and data gateways. Experienced and familiar with interactive data visualization software like Power BI and Tableau, experience working with key stakeholders, a good understanding of the gambling market and excellent communication/presentation skills. This is a highly dynamic role, which gives you great exposure to multiple data sources, senior stakeholders and business-critical decisions which your reports will support.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand and translate business requirements into technical ones
  • Engage with stakeholders from the various business teams and be able to communicate to senior audiences.
  • Prepare data for standard reporting & insights by querying the data warehouse, GCP or using reporting resources available
  • Build reports/dashboards in Power BI /Tableau /Excel as per business specifications
  • Own the Power BI/Tableau site administration and governance
  • Build, maintain and optimise data sources on the Power BI/Tableau server
  • Utilise the latest developments in Power BI/Tableau to improve data source and dashboard performance
  • Set business requirements for BI tools as well as identify the tool that is best suited for the requirement
  • Provide technical support and training for BI reports, dashboards, and tools to end users
  • Liaise with data warehouse on data requirements from business
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements with the data team: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, data sanity checks, keeping data fresh etc.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business performance using data.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (including VLOOKUP’s, Pivot tables).
  • Proficient in the use of SQL and programming languages (such as python)
  • Self-driven investigative skills (knows tools, knows how to use them when and how to create a certain result)
  • Ability to turn complex concepts and business questions into actionable data.
  • Must have a mathematical background or have worked in an analytical role previously
  • Logical approach to problem solving
  • Advanced knowledge of Tableau/Power BI
  • Database experience including experience in coding across commercial databases
  • Ability to understand complex multi-level data and make them performant
  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross functional teams
