As a Test Automation Engineer, you will create and run automated tests that conform to Entain Engineering standards. You will build the next generation of betting products whilst working with cutting edge technologies in an Agile, international environment.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be part of the Engineering team.

What you will do 

  • Independently formulates test plans for features, requiring minimal guidance from senior team members.
  • Performs both exploratory and scripted testing while automating common workflows.
  • Assumes ownership of quality efforts for their squad's feature testing and actively participates in bug triages
  • Engages in collaborative discussions with the Product Owner to thoroughly address features to be developed, actively seeking clarifications.
  • Attains comprehensive knowledge of assigned products and understands interactions with dependent systems.

Who you are 

  • Proficient in Software Testing, an investigation conducted to provide stakeholders with information about the quality of the software product or service under test. 
  • Advanced in Manual / Automation Testing, in manual testing, a human performs the tests step by step, without test scripts. In automated testing, tests are executed automatically via test automation frameworks, along with other tools and software. 
  • Proficient in Programming / Scripting, the process of writing instructions for computers to perform specific tasks or operations, enabling automation and software development. 
  • Advanced in Agile Testing, a software testing practice that follows the principles of agile software development.
  • Proficient in Version Control Management, the practice of tracking and managing changes to software code.
