We, the MS SQL database engineering team, are responsible for our sports betting databases based on Microsoft SQL server technologies worldwide. These databases are the is the foundation for our successful and popular sports betting products.
Using the latest technologies of hardware and software we are constantly improving stability, performance, and functionality.
As a junior member of our team, you will support us to maintain our rapidly growing infrastructure. While gaining experience you will be primarily responsible for operating and improving the daily operations, as well as increasing the level of automation.
While collaborating with other infrastructure teams you will work on projects, and changes as well as resolving incidents.

What you’ll be doing:
- Perform SQL server installations and upgrades
- Verify backups jobs
- Daily tickets and requests
- Permission assignments
- Availability group creation on failover clusters
- Troubleshooting and investigation during incidents
- Participation in the 24x7 stand duty rota (usually after 6-12 months)
What we need from you:
- Completed technical education
- Fluent English (minimum B1) is a prerequisite
- Basic Know-How about the design of SQL Server (2008R2 or later preferred)
- Basic knowledge of scripting technologies (like PowerShell and T-SQL)
- Basic Know How about relational databases and SQL
- Knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure technologies, .NET, or other SQL technologies (like SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, etc.) would be beneficial
- Good communication skills
- Motivated and willing to learn
- Accurate and responsibly
- Passion for IT (hardware and software)
- Team player who can work self-contained if necessary
