About The Role

Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities:

To assist in the successful running of the Stadium’s race events by providing a friendly and efficient service to ensure customer satisfaction whilst entering the Stadium.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and assist visitors into the Stadium in an appropriate way;
  • Provide an instant, attentive and professional service to all customers;
  • Open and close the turnstiles when required to do so;
  • Understand the ticketing arrangements for each event;
  • Ensure there is sufficient float money available;
  • Report any incidents that could affect the safe running of any event to the Security team or Safety and Compliance officer;
  • To take all reasonable steps to prevent any cash taken at a turnstile from being stolen or lost;
  • Assist the Office Manager with reconciling attendance figures when necessary;
  • To carry out any other reasonable requests made by the Office Manager or Security team.
Health & Safety and Compliance Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the area around the turnstile is clear of obstructions and operates freely, any issues must be reported to the Safety and Compliance Officer immediately;
  • Ensure that the Think 21 policy is complied with at all times.
Accountabilities 
  • You are required to follow the Work Instruction Notices (WIN), or Stadia Operating Procedures (SOP) that are relevant to your role. These can be found on the company Intranet.
  • The company may also communicate ad hoc notifications through line managers and notices boards - these will also form a part of your health and safety responsibilities.
Experience and Educational Requirements 
  • Over 18
  • Previous experience in a similar environment is preferred but not essential
  • Knowledge of the betting industry
  • Strong customer service skills
