Objective of the role:


As a part of the Trading and Analytics team, you will be responsible for building, delivering and maintaining Machine Learning and Analytics models. The role will require you to work closely with stakeholders and clearly understand the business objectives to which models will be used to optimise business performance.


You will work closely with the Development team to productionise models in an end-to-end deployment framework, and be required to deliver ongoing performance reporting to broader business such as CRM, Marketing, Trading, Finance and Product.


The role requires someone who is eager to learn and work in a high performance environment. Develop themselves as an industry leading Data Scientist and willing to apply the latest modelling techniques.

 
 

Roles & Responsibilities:


  • To build and maintain advanced statistical and analytical models for the Trading and Analytics team.

  • End-to-end productionisation of models while working closely with the development team.

  • Understand the business objectives and build models which optimise business performance.

  • Present and deliver models and ongoing performance reporting to broader business such as CRM, Marketing, Trading, Finance and Product.

  • Document and explain complex models in simple terms.

  • Develop the machine learning frameworks for the business.

 


Key Skills Required

  • Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Science, Mathematics or related discipline

  • 3+ years in an Data Science or Quant role

  • Proficient in Python and Git

  • Highly Proficient with packages such as pandas, numpy, scikit-learn

  • Knowledge of Predictive Analytics and Machine Learning processes, tools and techniques

  • Experience using deep learning frameworks such as keras, tensorflow, pytorch

  • Experience using Pycharm IDE, Jupyter Notebooks or similar

  • Experience with AWS tools such as Lambda, Sagemaker, S3

  • Ability to deploy end-to-end models

  • Previous experience in building ML Ops Frameworks

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Firm understanding of mathematics and statistics

  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives at once in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment

  • Collaborative mindset

  • Passion for esports/betting and gaming

  • Passion for learning and always improving yourself and the team around you

  • Ability to work under pressure and remain calm and friendly at all times
