About The Role

The Role: Marketing Planning Manager

Location: Stratford (with Hybrid working)
Contract type: A minimum of 6 months to cover Maternity

In this role you will provide a holistic view of the retail business, ensuring all departments are aligned to maximise the commercial opportunity & provide customers with a best in class experience.   

With accountability for planning & communicating campaign content for all Retail Marketing activity you will be the link between Digital Marketing teams and Retail Marketing teams, ensuring that promotional activity is joined up and plans are shared in advance.

  • Work with Head of Retail Marketing & Innovations and major retail stakeholders to establish quarterly propositions that support commercial objectives
  • Work with Head of Marketing & other departmental heads, take the lead to deliver clear and effective Marketing Plans for key events in the sporting calendar and major product initiatives/launches
  • Communicate Ladbrokes’ business and Marketing objectives to Marketing channel owners and business-wide stakeholders
  • Disseminate across the business short, medium and long term promotional plans
  • Coordinate cross product teams to input into the planning process, including all relevant documentation and post-event reports
  • Drive continuous improvement, efficiency and consistency in the delivery of Marketing Campaigns across the business
  • Guide consistent delivery of Marketing across all retail shops
  • Compile presentations and reports suitable for board members, detailing a multi-channel approach when required
  • Have shared line management responsibility for Marketing Exec
  • Responsibility for managing and planning budgets, including regular reporting to senior stakeholders

You will also be involved in Quarterly Strategy Plans & Reviews by Assisting in compiling quarterly plans & reviews for Head of Marketing/Chief Marketing Officer.

  • Experience in project management
  • Ability to lead and influence teams across the business
  • Strong analytical skills and experience of budgeting & planning
  • Ability to present, negotiate and influence at senior level
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships both internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications and Educational Requirements

Degree educated – Business or Marketing preferable
