Title: Commercial Finance Business Partner - Digital
Location: United Kingdom (Nottingham OR London) OR Gibraltar

Role Purpose
As the Commercial Finance Business Partner – Digital, you be responsible for managing the consolidated Digital Operations P&L, forecasting, budgeting and reporting plus business partnering and working alongside several senior stakeholders.
 
You will also be the central finance lead on digital people costs across the regions, agreeing processes and driving best practice, working directly with regional FDs and HRBPs, and reporting at a consolidated level.
 
This role reports into the Commercial Finance Director and has regular interaction with the Digital CCO and CFO, as well as the wider finance teams in Gibraltar and London. A key part of the role is the delivery of high-quality information, and interpretation and presentation of financial data in a business-friendly way.
 
Key Responsibilities - Digital Ops
  • Accountable for the forecasting, management reporting and analysis and month end close of the consolidated Digital Operations cost base (£90m p.a)
  • Key contributor to the planning cycle (budget and 3 year plan) for digital operations, preparing materials, organising business reviews, co-ordinating with other finance stakeholders and contributors across the group
  • Manage processes for controlling costs for the digital operations workforce of 600 FTEs, working with HR BP to align this to HR systems
  • Ownership of digital operations group submissions, inputs and outputs of PBCS and other group reporting systems
Key Responsibilities - People Costs
  • Agree and roll out best around people cost forecasting and reporting across digital regions
  • Central reporting of the overall digital people cost position, highlighting variances to budgets, and risks and opportunities to future forecasts
  • Work with regional FDs on business cases for investments and cost saving initiatives
  • Act as gatekeeper for approvals of new/replacement roles
Other Key Responsibilities
  • Business partnering key operational stakeholders providing a combination of both support and challenge
  • Build up a strong commercial knowledge of the areas and ability to provide insight and challenge the status quo
  • Look for improvements and efficiency savings in processes
  • Ad hoc analysis and supporting the finance team on wider projects
