The Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that our systems is meet to the highest quality standards by performing functionality, Integration, reliability, performance, and compatibility testing against the business requirements developed.

Operating within a cross-functional Agile team (Developers, QA Analysts and Product Owners), this role will take a significant part in planning the product development phase while being in charge of creating end-to-end test plans, executing them, ensuring that all the objectives are met and that the implementation works as expected along with coordinating activities within our Hyderabad location.

What you'll be doing:

Software Development Life Cycle

  • Perform manual testing on the commercial projects to ensure that the system is in their best quality before being released into production along a release cycle.
  • Working in Agile methodology the QA Analyst will be responsible for attending sprints (fixed time period sessions), planning sessions, test preparation, execution, closure report, attend daily face-to-face catch-ups, testing relevant issues throughout the sprint planned and attending the sprint retrospective.

Test Techniques / Process

  • Develop test conditions, scenarios, cases and scripts according to the specific test phases (e.g. Functional Test, Integration Test, etc.)
  • Based on the product’s requirements the QA role is responsible for defining, developing and executing test plans and test cases in order to meet the product goal
  • Validate that user expectations are achieved during the testing process
  • Understanding of all test techniques along with a risk based approach
  • Understanding of how automation can help and shape testing

Test Planning and Documentations

  • Contribute to test planning
  • Perform test-related tasks as per the established plans for the key test deliverables, working with colleagues, suppliers and customer resources as required
  • Documenting high quality defect reports when found, using the company’s task management system (JIRA)

Domain knowledge

  • Be part of a team of QA specialists, contribute to the team by sharing knowledge, best practices and know-hows

Relationship Management

  • Maintain a strong relationship with team members across multiple location and act as a point of contact for test-related activities across the product/programme.

What we need from you:

Quality Assurance

  • Experience in QA practices such as functional, non-functional and automation
  • Experience of Sports Betting/Gaming industry would be preferred
  • Good understanding and practices in performing QA in an agile environment
  • Effective in both Waterfall and Agile Software development lifecycles
  • Able to work within a cross-functional team environment, with defined planning and control processes
  • Attention to details and out-of-the-box thinking

Communications

  • Good communication skills written and verbal with (internal and external) staff at all levels, including listening and providing answers
  • Experience of working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders

Organisational and Problem solving

  • Ability to identify problems and strong problem-solving skills
  • Self-organising, able to priorities own workload and seek input from stakeholders when required
