As a delivery manager, you will coordinate and oversee all activities in up to three software development teams. You will act as the people manager for all members of the team and be responsible for the delivery schedule. Roles in a team include software developers and testers.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead the engineers on the team by coaching, setting goals, and providing regular feedback.
  • Facilitate team ceremonies - daily stand ups, weekly team meetings, retrospectives, etc.
  • Lead or be involved in design, discovery, technical planning, and status discussions within your team, where you’ll help set direction and context, and identify any gaps or blockers.
  • Be involved in discussions around high level planning, roadmaps, and status with teams across the organization.
  • Coordinate the work of the development teams, make sure features are delivered in time
  • Provide consulting to senior management on various technical topics affecting your teams

What we need from you:

Essential
  • Proven experience leading software development teams in a geographically distributed and/or remote work environment
  • Track record demonstrating the ability to build a diverse and strong team – attracting, hiring, retaining, motivating the best talent
  • Demonstrated success in working with a team to deliver high quality software in an iterative, predictable, and sustainable way
  • Experience on running and maintaining business critical, 24/7, performance critical applications
  • Experience with hiring and onboarding new team members
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, and experience in effectively communicating with a wide range of technical and non-technical job functions within an organization
Desired
  • Experience in the sports betting domain
  • Scrum Master/Scrum at Scale certification desired
  • A development and architecture background with expertise in c# or Java
  • Experience with IT service management, ITIL processes, service monitoring
  • Hands-on experience of creating dashboards in Kibana, Jira and Confluence
