Our recently formed Global People Services team strives to create and deliver a seamless and positive employee experience across the entire employee lifecycle. Our aim will be to develop efficient and simple end-to-end HR related processes and maximize our technology to deliver a great people experience.

We are looking for a Global Payroll Transformation Lead (FTC - 12 months) with extensive experience in complex global payroll transformation.  This individual will be responsible for leading global payroll transformation initiatives, understanding, defining and documenting the as-is setup and creating scalable solutions and recommendations for a global business of our size and scope. A genuine passion for transformation, combined with relationship-building, leadership, and communication skills will be the key to success.

What you'll be doing:

  • Carry out full discovery of global payroll setup, identifying and documenting resource, effort and process utilised
  • Analyse end-to-end payroll processes (including controls and audit requirements) by partnering and creating positive relationships with various stakeholders such as global payroll teams, HR and Payroll Systems Manager, Global HR Process Excellence and Design Manager and Finance
  • Identify gaps with Best in Class and opportunities to consolidate and improve ways of working
  • Create comprehensive recommendations and build a business case to highlight requirements for a global transformation of payroll, moving from existing location specific setup to global scalable payroll model, being cognizant of downstream impacts i.e. Finance initiatives
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to enable effective change management initiatives across the organization and coordinate with key business leaders
  • Assist leaders to drive the strategic plan and continuous improvement efforts for global payroll best practices that enhance payroll processes aimed at increasing efficiency, compliance, scalability, and automation

What we need from you:

  • 5+ years of global payroll transformational experience ideally within an organistion with frequent M&A activity
  • Experienced within Business Process Outsourcing of Payroll operations
  • Demonstrable experience delivering significant transformation in complex global organisations
  • Programme management experience is advantageous
  • Strong ability to collaborate, see the big picture yet drill into the detail, where needed
