About the Role

This job description is for the Head of Creative Services on the unikrn team. This position will oversee the brand’s strategic positioning as well as lead the business’s creative direction and development. This role will be a key contact point for the unikrn business, global consumer marketing team, the regional marketing leads, the product organization and the CRM team. The position requires effective leadership, stakeholder and agency management across the business at all levels to pull through the brand’s marketing and creative strategies across the business. 

Your Mission

Operate across multiple roles, which include strategist, creative leader, operations lead and innovator. Responsible for the following: 

  • Serve as the voice of what on-brand, effective creative and brand marketing campaigns mean and look like across the business. 

  • Partner with leadership to develop brand and marketing materials, including brand books and product sheets ensuring they are aligned with unikrn brand values and style guidelines. 

  • Keep the brand’s creative needs ahead of the curve and develop world-class creative executions across the business. 

  • Ability to manage creative needs, development and delivery across the marketing and product organizations within unikrn. 

  • Work with a diverse, talented team that aspires to develop breakthrough, consumer driven creative work. 

  • Provide creative insights, guidance and direction for creative across a variety of channels and product platforms developed by either internal or external constituents. 

  • Consistently evaluate the industry and beyond to ensure the delivery of leading edge, relevant and impactful creative approaches and brand campaigns. 

  • Lead and manage the creative submission process across the unikrn business. 

  • Strength in budget management and the necessary decisiveness to prioritize investments. 

Your Profile

  • Passionate about brand marketing and a strong creative curiosity. 

  • Strong storytelling ability, with a meticulous attention to detail.

  • Executive presence and experience in delivering recommendations to senior leadership

  • Effective communicator at all levels of organizations.

  • Understanding the importance of process and having the confidence to create, implement and manage processes where it is necessary. 

  • Balances conviction to be big-picture strategic thinker whilst understanding the nuances of driving the day-to-day business. 

  • Significant experience and connection across the wagering / gaming / esports / youth culture industries, working with numerous stakeholders from publishers, properties and/or talent management.

  • Exceptional people leadership skills and experience, overseeing a cross-functional team, with a consistent history of cultivating and developing high performing teams.

  • Appreciation for the importance of data and analytics while understanding how to apply learnings to daily business activities. 

  • Strong organizational and project management skills to manage multiple programs concurrently.

  • High energy, self-starter, team-oriented, innovative, and entrepreneurial spirit

  • Travel optional (~20%) to understand business needs across the group while joining agency and partner meetings.
