About The Role
Objectives of the role:
As our Senior Frontend Engineer you will be responsible for Implementing new features, maintaining and improving existing features and codebase for Unikrn’s internal and external web apps.
 
Role Responsibilities
  • Develop new user-facing features

  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use

  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

  • Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability

  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Key Skills Required

  • 5+ years experience web application design and implementation

  • Deep knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Typescript, Javascript with mobile-first development

  • General knowledge of frontend UI building frameworks and libraries (eg. React, AngularJS, Ember)

  • Knowledge of state management libraries (eg. Redux, MobX)

  • Knowledge of testing strategies and best practices

  • Working knowledge of the Unix/Linux command line

  • Common source control and deployment strategies (Git, Jenkins/CircleCI/Docker)

  • The ability to make quick decisions and iterate often

  • Passion for learning and always improving yourself and the team around you

    Exceptional candidates will have the following additional skills:

  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent

  • Ability to work with heads of other teams to estimate requirements, schedules, and deadlines
