Marketing Optimisation Specialist will be a key member of the Performance marketing team, responsible for optimising marketing activities, aimed at delivering top notch new player experiences across UK digital.
You will be supporting the Marketing Optimisation Manager with monitoring conversion funnels, identifying and trouble-shooting pain points within the new player journey, testing and rolling out improved and personalized experiences.
You will have an interest in marketing technology and best practices related to acquisition conversion and will work closely with many teams, including Performance Marketing, CRM, OPS, Brand, Developers and Creative teams to deliver best experiences across the group in line with our brand proposition.
Key Responsibiliies:
• Work closely with your manager and Marketing teams to understand each Brand’s strategy and help to identify experiments and initiatives that could have the biggest impact on improving acquisition.
• Be familiar with customer touch points and proposition design to understand which areas can be amended and improved to ensure customers have the best, most streamlined experience.
• Own landing page and conversion reports to measure daily/monthly performance of the key sites and campaigns and progress over time.
• Highlight any issues found through reporting, escalate or take remedial action.
• Analyse the impact of changes implemented on site by our team with recommended follow up actions.
• Deliver actionable insight and analysis using Google Analytics, Cube, PowerBI to define break points or issues in customer journeys and customer behaviour. Identify gaps and opportunities in order to improve web conversion.
• Be accountable for the QA of acquisition journeys when launching new propositions and support trouble-shooting of existing offers. Partner with the QA team and oversee that content is on-brand, all signposting is present, users receive bonuses, tracking is implemented.
• Support execution of AB testing initiatives aimed at improving conversion and early life performance metrics. Gather requirements for the tests, coordinate with the teams (marketing, creatives, developers, QA)
• Take part in keeping the organization updated on optimisation plans, execution and outcome of our work and tests.
• Actively investigate known or suspected issues from outside sources, including voice of customer data, call centre feedback, bug reports, site outages, research and internal observations of customers’ behaviours.
Specialist skills and experience:
• Previous experience in an acquisition or conversion related role, ideally in the online gaming
• Experience managing high complexity tasks, ideally through a workflow management platform (e.g. JIRA, Wrike, Trello).
• Strong organizational skills and experience of balancing multiple projects with multiple stakeholders at once
• Good knowledge of Google Analytics is advantageous
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook)
• Confident in suggesting marketing improvements
• Cross platform and device conversion testing experience (desktop, mobile, native apps)
• Good understanding of user journeys, usability and UI/UX
• Must be fluent both written and spoken English and poses Excellent communications skills
• A proven record of managing successful testing initiatives is advantageous but not a prerequisite
