Global People Experience Research and Design Manager - 18m FTC

Our newly formed People Experience and HR Transformation team strive to create and deliver a seamless and positive people experience across the entire employee lifecycle. Our aim will be to lead the global HR transformation in order to deliver the best possible employee experience that puts our people and customers at the center of our organization. We are seeking someone to join our team to be responsible for the research and design of our people experience and initiatives working in close partnership with our global Head of People Experience and HR Transformation.
We are looking for someone to challenge our assumptions and ways of working, rethink existing processes, and see every challenge as an opportunity for improvement. We’re looking for a customer-focused individual, who can look at the big picture from a service perspective, and user experience and manage our services through metrics and data.
Key Responsibilities:
Main:
● Work closely with project sponsors, business leads, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and project teams to lead people experience research and design projects to ensure that business change opportunities are identified, assessed, planned, monitored, and delivered to optimize benefits.
● Lead complex projects and People Experience Redesign workstreams with a cross-functional team of people and SMEs, to improve the way we deliver Global and Local People Services at Entain.
● Design, lead and facilitate project design workshops (e.g. experience, policy, business requirements, process, operating model etc.).
● Create proposals, business cases, and project plans for new projects including goals, expected value to the organization/programs, key milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
● Maintain consistent design principles, standards, and templates for the People Experience internal site and global consult teams on best practices
● Partner with the relevant global and regional teams to execute the Entain Group People Experience program, including updating presentation content, facilitating sessions, and defining additional components to make the initiatives more comprehensive and immersive at the local level.
●Lead local, regional and group-wide People Experience change initiatives and projects from research and diagnosis through design and refinement as well as implementation and review.
● Ensure the delivery of multiple, cross-functional, and company-wide projects to agreed goals, timelines, scope, and resources in conjunction and alignment with wider departmental strategic objectives and plans.
● Identify budget needs for new and ongoing projects and seek approval from the Head of Group People Experience and HR Transformation and Finance HR.
● Lead the experience research efforts engaging with our frontline colleagues and all other people’s experience segments and personas.
● Responsible for partnering with and influencing global HR colleagues to share best practices and embed consistency across each geography.
● Identifying development for our Executive Teams across the business in partnership with the Head of People Experience & HR Transformation and CPO.
● Partner with senior leader sponsors and Network Leads to shape and implement our Diversity & Inclusion agenda.
Specialist skills and experience:
Essential:
● 4+ years’ experience in researching and designing customer or people experience interventions, journeys, and propositions.
● Degree or Master’s in an HR, business, or technology discipline
● Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional, cross-organization teams to get feedback and drive improvement efforts
● Effective planning and project management skills
● Experience managing cross-functional teams in a matrix and project-based approach across multiple geographies, cultures, and time zones.
● Must possess an understanding of HR and general services that are provided to our people, and their needs, wants and expectations.
● Experience working in a global complex/matrix environment is needed
● Experience delivering and implementing global initiatives through change management and adoption.
● Strong relationship-building and senior stakeholder management skills
● Knowledge and experience of working with Scrum agile delivery methods
● Great presentation, workshop design and facilitation skills using face-to-face, virtual and hybrid environments.
Desired/Preferred:
● Design-led thinking certification
● Agile Scrum master certification
● Other people experience research, design, or implementation certification
● Agile Project, Portfolio and Programme Management certifications/qualifications
● Familiarity with Oracle and ServiceNow HR or similar technologies
● Experience working in a large, global tech company or other fast-paced environments
● Experience managing cultural change
● Experience in delivering “future of work” projects and initiatives in a complex environment
● Experience running design-led thinking workshops and upskilling with a variety of business and HR stakeholders across different time zones and cultures.
