About The Role
Role Purpose:
To support the Leader (Exco -1 member) directly on work that has impact across their team. Focus oglobal consistency in deliverables, with functional specific delivery – (what you deliver vs how you deliver).
To lead a group of P&C BPs across a function.
Lead the People Business Partner team in the organisation and prioritisation of work, and provide coaching
and development support
  • Lead delivery of Talent, Leadership Capability, Culture and Organisation service delivered through the people plan
  • Focus on development planning for ‘star’ talent
  • Facilitate growth and exposure activities for up-and-coming underrepresented Talent
  • Work in partnership with your business leader and their team to design an organization which will deliver on their long term strategy
  • Use parameters and frameworks provided by the central OD team for consistent approach across functions where possible, while also providing flexible guidance to the business
  • Work with TA partner to build pipeline for future skills and capabilities, while planning for increased representation of under-represented Talent
  • Provides leadership coaching to senior leader and their direct reports (the DR it is about them as leaders, not coaching or planning for changes in their teams)
  • Works with leader to consider listening strategy feedback, group values and behaviours, and overall org health, to design and drive \initiatives that will ensure the business is amplifying the company culture and driving towards a FTSE100 company
How we will work:
  • Partner with the Centres of Excellence in the design of key initiatives ensuring they will solve business challenges and are scalable
  • Works with the DBP for their functional team to identify opportunities linked to the business goals, and design solutions.
  • Rolls out the functional solutions and/or those that sit across the group
  • Work with the Employee Relations team as an advisor on cases they are working on for your business group
  • Partner with the Learning Business Partner in driving the Learning agenda within the function
  • Roll out or participate in learning programs designed by central team
  • Has regular learning sessions with the SS team for them to understand what is happening in their function
  • Works as an advisor to this team on questions they have regarding cases
