WHAT YOU’LL DO
You’ll be responsible for expanding and optimising our data and data pipeline architecture, as well as optimising data flow and collection for cross functional teams. Day to day responsibilities will include:
- Analysing and organising raw data
- Creating and maintaining optimal data pipeline architecture
- Assembling large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements
- Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources
WHO YOU ARE
- An experienced data pipeline builder and data wrangler who enjoys optimising data systems and building them from the ground up (a minimum of 5 years experience)
- Expert proficiency in Python, C++, Java, R and SQL
- Experienced with:
- Big data tools
- Data pipeline and workflow management tools
- Google Cloud Service
- Experienced performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement
