WHAT YOU’LL DO
As our Deployment Engineer, you will work within a small but key team that supports our Retail technology setups, re-vamps, and digital product installations. As the Deployment Engineer, it will be yourself that will provide focus and knowledge for each project and quality assurance to ensure activities are delivered effectively and on time, and to agreed standards. Other key duties will be:
- Manage on site Installation and Commission of “in shop” technology across the UK Retail Estate
- Hands on technical install of Network and Epos technology
- Technical liaison with install partners and Key Suppliers
- Technical liaison with our internal Technology teams and Support Teams
- Ensure that install partners complete works to specification and agreed quality
- Ownership of snags to resolution for Technical installations
- This role isn't regional and will cover the UK so travel will be essential to the role. A company van will be provided for the role.
- The role will from time to time require some evening, weekend and bank holiday work.
WHO YOU ARE
- Knowledge in installation of IT systems in Retail Environments
- Knowledge of Audio Visual systems, installation and commission
- Experience in installing Network switches
- Understanding of network protocols - TCP/IP
- Experience of Epos systems
- Computer Hardware Knowledge- fault finding & resolution
