To shape that future, we are looking for a world-class Senior Business Performance analyst to support our newly formed Emerging Markets business.

This is a high-impact analytical role that will report to the Senior Business Performance Manager in our Central BI team, providing dedicated support to our Emerging Markets business. This is a new, dynamic role, which gives you great exposure to multiple data sources, senior stakeholders and business-critical decisions in a high-growth area for the business.
Key Responsibilities:

Data Champion, Exec-Level & Commercial Reporting:

  • Become the “Data Champion” and key point of contact for Emerging Markets
  • Champion and advance superior data quality across everything you do
  • Develop strong relationships with Central BI and Analytics teams
  • Own development of Exec-level business performance reporting suite, including establishing key business and customer KPIs for Emerging Markets
  • Develop a broad set of dashboards/analytics tools to us better understand our performance across our Emerging Market brands
  • Manage the delivery of the data and analytics backlog for Emerging Markets
  • Proactively identify, design, and implement internal process improvements with the data team: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, data sanity checks, keeping data fresh etc.
  • Support senior leaders in building board-level presentations and insights decks
  • Liaise with data warehouse on data requirements from business
  • Connect transactional and behavioural data across GA and our DWH
  • Capable of working on multiple, overlapping tasks in a fast-paced environment
Commercial Enablers:
  • Proactively identify and explain major performance trends, patterns & behaviours across Emerging Markets, bringing to life insights in a concise and meaningful way
  • Provide high-quality strategic analysis and insight to support growth across our digital pillars (marketing, CRM, brand, promotions, product, service and pricing)
  • Partner with the Director of Commercial Performance and other EM leaders to diagnose business performance and surface new market opportunities and risks
  • Lead Emerging Market reporting projects to advance our data & analytics capability
  • Support the business teams with ad hoc insight
Specialist skills and experience:

World-Class Data Expert:

  • Extensive experience working with data in a fast-moving digital business (minimum 5 years of related experience)
  • Advanced hands-on experience - SQL and other programming languages (e.g., python)
  • Advanced knowledge of Tableau/Power BI. Google Analytics / Big Query an advantage
  • Database experience including experience in coding across commercial databases
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (including VLOOKUP’s, and Pivot tables)

Commercial Enablers:

  • Strong commercial acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Robust project and stakeholder management skills
  • Logical approach to problem-solving - ability to turn complex concepts and business questions into actionable data
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely to influence a wide range of audiences
  • Familiarity with eGaming KPIs, terminology and business model is an advantage
  • Digital experience essential
