About The Role
The Accounting Specialist is mainly responsible in processing Accounts Payable and will also provide accounting support to various financial accounting areas.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Process payment requests and checked for complete and correct documentations 
  • Ensure that bills are settled timely and correct tax treatment is applied 
  • Daily monitoring of cash position and that funds are available for payment of payables 
  • Checking of cash advance liquidations
  • Filing and reporting to BIR of taxes withheld and value added tax 
  • Reconcile assigned GL accounts
  • Assist with month-end closing and audit
  • Maintain files and documentations thoroughly as well as accurately
  • Other tasks that may be delegated or assigned from time to time 
Specialist Skills and Experience Required:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s /College degree in Accountancy
  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant
  • At least 1 years of relevant experience
