About The Role

Title: Head of AML - International Subsidiaries
Location: Gibraltar

To develop an AML framework to ensure compliance with the Group’s AML obligations across its international subsidiaries

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for AML frameworks in all Group international subsidiaries.
  • Provide guidance on AML for new market entry, new products, mergers and acquisitions
  • Manage a team of money laundering reporting officers across various international jurisdictions.
  • Develop policies, processes and procedures in line with AML legislation to ensure the Group’s subsidiaries comply with money laundering regulations in its jurisdictions.
  • Review resource needs in international subsidiaries and help recruit and manage a team of AML managers/analysts.
  • Provide guidance on developing and updating a risk assessment on a periodic basis in line with best practice in each jurisdiction.
  • Identify any audit requirements (and request these if necessary) and oversee any internal/external audits and the closure of any findings.
  • Standardize reporting requirements – both statistics (SARS, AML closures etc) and overall trends and issues in each jurisdiction.
  • Stay current with money laundering and terrorist financing behaviours, issues, policies, regulations, criminal typologies, industry best practices, and developing trends in all our international jurisdictions.
  • Representing the company at conferences, trade bodies and gambling regulators.
  • Oversee the training program for international subsidiaries.
Specialist skills and experience:
  • 7+ years of experience in an AML role including managerial roles
  • Knowledge of the Gaming industry
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to organize and analyse complex data sets
  •  Familiarity with AML issues and suspicious transaction monitoring systems

  • Successful candidate must be detail-oriented and highly confidential

  • Good people management skills
  • Knowledge of AML tools and systems
