WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Head of Health and Safety will help define, shape & plan Health and Safety strategy, programmes and initiatives & then manage project delivery either directly or via the Health and Safety teams. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a sustainable difference for our stakeholders, employees & our business.
This position involves managing a team or 5 direct reports and some international travel will be involved! Some day-to-day tasks include.
- Fostering an inclusive, collaborative Health and Safety culture and setting and monitoring clear measurable objectives and targets, which are visible and meaningful to all colleagues.
- Promoting ownership of Health and Safety at all levels, and promoting environment, safety, health, and wellbeing, to deliver an incident and injury free environment at Entain.
- Lead teams to deliver on the HSE strategy, engaging and collaborating with the Divisions and Functions.
- Developing a structured management audit protocol; conducting on-site safety audits, risk assessment and inspections of Entain operations and facilities.
WHO YOU ARE
- Formally recognised health and safety qualification(s) ie NEBOSH or IOSH
- Chartered Member of a recognised institution, with in-depth knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, quality assurance and compliance.
- A background either as a practitioner or as an operations leader with a passion for Health and Safety is essential.
- Excellent business acumen and proven change management skills.
- Strong leadership and influencing skills and demonstrable experience of having delivered EHS strategy.
