Do you have a passion for great customer service? In this role you will make the Stadium the customers’ first choice for Greyhound racing by providing our guests with the highest levels of fast, friendly and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests in a friendly and accommodating manner, making a phenomena first impression;
- Take orders and serve food/drink, consistently achieving the required standards;
- Learn and retain a comprehensive understanding of all menu items to ensure maximum benefit to the guest and the ability to work effectively;
- Prepare the restaurant/bar for service and carry out any other reasonable requests made by the Bar & Catering Supervisor;
- Present a positive personal image to the customer;
- Ensure that a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness is maintained in the restaurant/bar areas by following cleaning routines as set by the Bar & Catering Supervisor;
- Account for payments at the end of the shift;
- To carry out any other reasonable requests made by the Bar & Catering Supervisor.
- Ensure that all equipment in the bar and restaurant area is working safely and is compliant with manufacturer’s guidelines for operation, reporting any concerns to the Bar & Catering Manager.
- Ensure that the bar and restaurant areas are safe and report any concerns to the Safety & Compliance Officer or Bar & Catering Manager.
Qualifications and Training Requirements:
- General Health and Safety Training
- Fire Safety Training
- Previous experience in a similar environment is preferred but not crucial!
