Our Bar & Catering Supervisors ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Bar and Catering operations within the Stadium and ensure that everyone provides our guests with the highest levels of fast, friendly and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the Bar & Catering teams are organised and performing to a high standard, reporting any issues to the Bar & Catering Manager;
  • Welcome guests in a friendly and accommodating manner, making a phenomenal first impression;
  • Take orders and serve food/drink, consistently achieving the required standards;
  • Learn and retain a comprehensive understanding of all menu items to ensure maximum benefit to the guest;
  • Prepare the restaurant/bar for service;
  • Present a positive personal image to the customer;
  • Ensure that a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness is maintained in the restaurant/bar areas;
  • Account for payments, cash discrepancies and stock lost at the end of the shift, highlighting to the Bar & Catering Manager;
  • To deputise for the Bar & Catering Manager when needed;
  • Provide training and coaching to ensure the development of the team; ensure they are motivated, productive and follows all regulations, legislation and team values and behaviours;
  • To carry out any other reasonable requests made by the Bar & Catering Manager

Health & Safety and Compliance Responsibilities:

  • To be responsible for ensuring that all reports are aware of the Work Instruction Notices that are associated with their role and ensure that they have adequate training in those areas;
  • Ensure that all equipment in the bar and restaurant area is working safely and used following the manufacturer’s guidelines for operation, reporting any concerns to the Bar & Catering Manager.

Accountabilities:

  • You are required to follow the Work Instruction Notices (WIN), or Stadia Operating Procedures (SOP) that are relevant to your role. These can be found on the company Intranet.
  • The company may also communicate ad hoc notifications through line managers and notices boards - these will also form a part of your health and safety responsibilities.

Qualifications and Training Requirements:

  • General Health and Safety Training
  • Fire Safety Training
  • Qualifications in Food Hygiene
  • Personal License Holder
