WHAT YOU’LL DO  

This role is a pivotal part of our internal creative agency.  You will lead a team of designers (static and motion) providing design direction across our global brands and marketing campaigns ensuring they are executed to the highest standards across a variety of mediums and channels.

You will be confident interpreting all manner of multi-discipline briefs, every interaction a customer has with our brands from the ads they see in the world, to the emails they get in their inbox. Your team will create and innovative, visually stunning work that tell stories and drive business performance.

Partnering with internal stakeholders and external agencies to effectively to raise the bar and delivering high quality, creative work.

You will create strong alignments and relationships with our stakeholders across the business. Some international travel will be needed as part of this role.

The role reports into the Executive Creative Director

Leadership & Management

  • Lead a global team of Designers across multiple locations.
  • Providing leadership and direction cultivating a culture where continuous improvement is embraced. Ensures high levels of engagement and enablement
  • Be an engaged member of the in In House Creative Leadership Team.
  • Provide development, coaching, objectives & goal setting, performance management as required from time to time; to ensure your team is motivated and productive.
  • Support and drive a culture of creativity, excellence and development.
  • Build and foster a positive creative environment for the development of the highest quality work.

Creative

  • Setting and lead the vision for design across our brands, being the go to band guardian of all design assets.
  • Being the craft lead and mentor globally.
  • Leading a team to generate insightful, strategically grounded design concepts and branding design projects from conception to completion.
  • Lead brand guideline development for design assets across our suite of brands
  • Explore and shape creative ideas and align them with strategic brand goals.
  • Pitching/Overseeing the presentation of concepts and obtain approvals from stakeholders.
  • Introduce and deliver brand consistency across all design touch points.
  • Review and approve design concept and work developed by the team, ensuring that deliverables address marketing goals and challenges effectively.
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders and external agencies to effectively to raise the bar and delivering high quality, creative work.
  • Conduct brainstorming sessions with the creative team, maintaining strategic thinking to develop innovative and actionable initiatives in a fiscally responsible manner
  • Analyse brand tracking, market trends, consumer needs, and the competitor landscape
  • Implement best practice, tools and processes to ensure we have optimal workflows in place to drive the volume of “business as usual” promotional work.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to make the best work happen

Some international travel will be needed as part of this role

  

WHO YOU ARE  

 

Essential:

  • Proven track of creating world-class design for recognised brands in a leadership role.
  • Excellent understanding of the design principles, of typography andanimation.
  • Experience of leading a large, multi-location team in a high volume digital business
  • Expert experience in some/all of the following (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Cinema 4D, UX/UI Design)
  • Extensive experience in managing multiple complex integrated cross media campaigns ATL and TTL,across video production, post production, social media, digital.
  • A ‘hands on’ individual with experience across conceptual design, branding, campaign branding, advertising and all integrated channels.
  • A portfolio to demonstrate the above
  • A natural leader, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • An organised, self-starter with the ability to build relationships and get things done

    Desired:

  • On-set direction experience
  • A strong interest in sports and/or gaming (Poker, Bingo, Casino)
  • Experience working for brands in a regulated sector
  • In House and Agency experience
