The Role:

The UK Sports brands – Ladbrokes and Coral – make up the single biggest digital entity within the Entain Group

Working alongside the Head of Sportsbook Commercial Performance you will be responsible for forecasting, planning and target setting for short, medium and longer term activity to set us up for success.  You will become the expert on the sporting calendar directing stakeholders to the key areas of opportunity

The role will involve stakeholder relationships with a number of teams internally within Entain including Propositions, Marketing, CRM, Trading and Content. You will establish and manage SLAs with these teams, define the requirements of your customers, attribute value and manage the service levels being delivered.

What will the role involve?

As the Manager for Commercial Sportsbook performance you will be critical in the delivery of Sportsbook KIPs, requiring a strong understanding of the Sports and Betting industries.  You will build strong relationships with those around you such that you can appropriately challenge performance and play an active role in activity and initiatives to improve

Core Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Head of Sportsbook Commercial Performance in all activities
  • Forecasting of Promotional / bonus spend
  • Planning and target setting for “key events”
    • Sizing of key future events and identification of areas of focus for Proposition team
    • Ownership of rolling event calendar
    • Coordination of all planning activity that involves input from multiple teams
  • Leading forecasting for Sportsbook actives aligning with Finance, BI, Marketing and Props teams
Who are we looking for?
  • Outstanding commercial acumen, based on excellent analytical capability and a strong customer focus.
  • The ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • An inquisitive mindset with the ability to question and challenge in the right way
  • The ability to influence and drive performance across a complex matrix management structure.
  • Strong excel and powerpoint skills
  • Excellent written communication skills, particularly in the ability to articulate complex business KPIs into contextual descriptions of performance relative to strategic goals.
