WHAT YOU’LL DO
We are looking for a BI Analyst to join our Sportsbrand BI team. This role will be based in our fabulous Gibraltar office. As a BI Analyst you will be responsible for contributing to the delivery of insights, dashboards, analytical tools and presentations to organisational stakeholders and leaders across the business.
Reporting to the Head of Reporting and Dashboards you will proactively work with the rest of the Analytics, BI, Product, Marketing and Finance teams to support and enable them to meet their KPIs and other deliverables.
- Drive analytical projects though to delivery and embed them within the organisation
- Create commercial value through insightful analysis
- Use abstract thinking and problem-solving skills to identify business opportunities and pinpoint problems
- Identify new ways of presenting data and propose ideas for the adoption thereof
- Develop reports using Power BI and other reporting and visualisation tools to be distributed to the wider business, for example Financial KPI reports to be reviewed by the Executive team
WHO YOU ARE
- Good understanding of business processes within online gaming and sports betting an advantage
- Strong presentation skills; able to simplify and articulate complex domain areas confidently to senior stakeholders
- Experience of problem solving under pressure, with the ability to prioritise
- Experience working within a BI or data warehousing environment
- Advanced SQL skills (Microsoft SQL Server) and experience with a modern Data Visualisation tool (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, QlikSense or similar) essential. Knowledge of MDX and DAX query languages an advantage. Experience with Google BigQuery an advantage
