This role can be based in either our Vienna or London, UK office. Hybrid Approach.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead IT infrastructure projects, gather requirements and report on project status as per agreed project management framework standards. The project manager has to ensure communication in the right time and has to be able to represent the project and all its related aspects.
  • Support project prioritisation and ensure common awareness of timelines and project objectives across the Technical Operations organisation.
  • Perform and consolidate project controlling measures on a regular basis, incl. resources (efforts and costs), timelines, structure (content), organisation, environment, risks and dependencies
  • Be a key link between the business teams, stakeholders and the technology engineering team/s, in aligning and tracking priorities, identifying issues, and managing projects and priorities

 

WHO YOU ARE

  • Strong leadership abilities with the drive to push project teams to deliver infrastructure projects quickly and efficiently
  • Strong project management skills - organizing, planning and executing multiple projects and resource plans.
  • Technical background with experience in the following areas:
    • Database technologies; Oracle, MS-SQL
    • Server technologies; Windows Server, Linux
    • Web Server technologies; Apache, JBOSS, Tomcat
    • Application technologies; Java, Active MQ
    • Networking technologies; LAN, WAN, Internet
    • Storage technologies; SAN, Storage Array, Enterprise Backup
  • Certification in IPMA / Prince 2 or comparable project management discipline
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed teams
