As a Lead Angular Engineer, you will lead in front-end development, specializing in Angular, Nx, micro-frontends, monorepo, esbuild, and rollup, to architect and optimize scalable applications. 

Reporting to the VP of Engineering this role requires technical leadership, architectural design, and hands-on expertise in building and maintaining robust, high-performance systems while mentoring a team and driving innovation.

What you will do

  • Enhances architecture and code structure to promote testability and maintainability.
  • Analyze the broader technical picture, bottlenecks, dependencies, influence and/synergies with other components or parts of the system.
  • Build high-quality, clean, scalable and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes.
  • Lead the architectural design of Angular projects, ensuring scalability and maintainability
  • Guide developers to create reusable and well-documented UI components within Storybook.
  • Plan for future growth and ensure the architecture can accommodate new features and functionalities.

Who you are

  • Extensive experience building and maintaining large-scale, scalable performant Angular applications.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing clean, modular, and maintainable Angular architectures.
  • Solid in TypeScript, solid JavaScript understanding, and proficiency in navigating the event loop
  • Expert in Angular and its design principles; familiar with React, Vue.
  • Strong understanding of modern bundling tools: Ability to configure and leverage esbuild for optimized bundling of Angular applications, considering factors like build times, bundle size, and production vs. development needs.
  • Knowledge of dynamic module loading techniques: Understanding of Module Federation or Native Federation and their implementation for efficient loading of remote modules within the Angular application.
